Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
Scope of the Policy
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of the Course A show crew production guide offered by showcrewza. The guide covers team roles, camera operation, lighting checks, audio coordination and efficient workflows for stage and studio programs. It sets out the terms under which payments are accepted and refunds may be provided for this digital training product. The policy is intended for customers in the United Kingdom and complies with relevant legislation including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges
All prices are displayed in British pounds sterling. The price shown at checkout includes value added tax at the prevailing rate. No additional charges apply for standard access to the course materials. Any future updates or supplementary modules will be offered separately and clearly priced before purchase. showcrewza reserves the right to adjust prices for new customers, but existing purchases remain at the price paid at the time of transaction.
Accepted Payment Methods and Security
Payments are accepted via major credit and debit cards through a secure third-party payment processor. Authorisation is obtained at the point of sale and funds are held until the transaction is confirmed. All card details are processed using encryption and never stored on showcrewza systems. Customers receive an immediate email confirmation once payment is authorised.
Order Confirmation and Contract Formation
A contract is formed when showcrewza sends an order confirmation email following successful payment. This email contains access instructions and a summary of the purchase. Until this confirmation is issued, no binding agreement exists and any payment held will be refunded if the order cannot be fulfilled.
Cancellation Rights
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, customers have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase during which they may cancel without giving a reason. Because the product is digital content, access is granted immediately upon confirmation, which means the right to cancel is lost once download or streaming begins, unless the customer expressly consents to this loss of rights at the time of purchase.
Refund Eligibility and Exclusions
Refunds are available within the 14-day period only if the customer has not accessed the course content. Once any module has been viewed or downloaded, the purchase becomes non-refundable. Technical issues caused by the customer equipment or internet connection do not qualify for refund. Promotional or discounted purchases may have additional restrictions stated at the time of sale.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, customers must email [email protected] within the applicable period, providing their order number, full name and the reason for the request. Requests sent by any other method will not be processed. showcrewza will acknowledge receipt of the request within two working days.
Refund Decision Process
Upon receipt of a valid request, showcrewza will review access logs to confirm whether any content has been viewed. A decision will be communicated by email within five working days. If approved, the customer will be notified of the expected refund date. If rejected, clear reasons will be provided together with details of any available alternative remedies.
Refund Processing and Timescales
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes between five and ten working days, although the time for funds to appear in the customer account may vary depending on the card issuer. No refund will be made to a different account or payment method.
Special Rules for Digital Content and Services
The Course A show crew production guide is supplied as digital content. Once access is granted and the customer has begun viewing, the transaction is complete and non-refundable except where the content is defective or not as described. In such cases, showcrewza will either repair the defect or provide a replacement at no additional cost.
Failed Payments and Chargebacks
If a payment fails, the order will not be processed and access will not be granted. Duplicate charges will be investigated and refunded automatically within seven days. Chargebacks or suspected fraudulent activity will be referred to the payment processor and may result in permanent suspension of access and reporting to relevant authorities where required by law.
Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy affects the statutory rights of consumers under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. These rights cannot be excluded or limited by contract. Customers retain the right to seek redress through the courts or alternative dispute resolution if they believe their rights have been infringed.
